To become a member of Food Banks Canada, you must meet the following Membership Criteria:

The organization must:

• Be the only food bank in their community
• Have a valid Canadian Charitable Registration Number
• Be aware of the code of ethics of Food Banks Canada and be willing to follow them (see Appendix A)
• Pay an annual fee
• Provide an annual hunger count; the number of people they feed on a monthly basis
• Follow Food Banks BC’s Membership Criteria
